I think it's great that these Switzerland-related articles have been so thoroughly expanded with demographic stats, but I think that sometimes a bit more common sense could go into the selection of these demographic variables. For instance, this article states that there are 11 people in this district who speak Romansh. That's 0.0237% and the statistical margin of error is probably a lot bigger than those 11 people, so I don't see the point in inflating the article with such data. It gets even more bizarre in some other articles. For instance, the article on Cerniat states that Italian is the third most spoken language there with 1 or 0.3% people speaking it (even though the article Bosco Gurin is even more ridiculous, where the demographic data for a village of 48 people is analyzed down to a tenth of a percentage point, even though every one of these 48 people represents over 2% of the population). Another example from the Cerniat article: the section on "Education" states that "The municipality had no non-university Tertiary classes." Well duh, this is a village in the mountains, the people who live in Cerniat are basically either farmers or commuters, it's complete informational white noise to state that there are no "non-university Tertiary classes" there. --Terfili (talk) 18:46, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
