According to some new additions to Tom Holtz online dinosaur appendix[1]: "Ongoing studies by Martín D. Ezcurra (Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales "Bernardino Rivadavia", Buenos Aires, Argentina) and his colleagues suggest that Panphagia forms a group of successful very primitive sauropodomorphs with other genera previously considered theropods (like Guaibasaurus) or sauropodomorphs (like Saturnalia) or even non-dinosaurs (like Agnosphitys)."
