article title, etc.[edit]

@Bearcat: (1) The title of the film is "Guantanamo's Child: Omar Khadr"; See for example [1] or [2] (and the trailer in the embedded YouTube link). Is there some MOS policy not to include the "subtitle" of a movie in article titles? Otherwise the article should be moved. (2) I changed the IMDb link from [3] to [4]. I would guess that the former (listed on IMDb at 44 minutes) is just a shorter version of the latter, but anyway that's IMDb's problem, not ours. (3) I would question including this in Category:Documentary films about terrorism. The film does not talk much about terrorism per se; more appropriate would be Category:Documentary films about the War on Terror. Mathew5000 (talk) 19:01, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

(1) A lot of sources have just called it Guantanamo's Child without any subtitle; I wasn't trying to deliberately elide any information about it, but to simply reflect what the sources were calling it. I don't know if there's any explicit policy to elide subtitles in a film's article, although for what it's worth there is a policy about doing so in the titles of non-fiction books if the subtitle isn't necessary for disambiguation purposes from another topic of the same name — and I'd be very hard-pressed to come up with a good reason why the rule for film titles should be different from the rule for books. But again, I didn't elide the subtitle for any reason other than the fact that it wasn't in the sources that I was consulting at the time I created the article. (2) No comment; IMDb appears to have separated the feature and television versions sometime after I created this page, because the link I added certainly wasn't titled "Omar Khadr: Out of the Shadows" at the time I added it. (3) Did you just mistype a category name that actually does exist at a different place than that, or are you actually suggesting that we file this in a category that doesn't actually exist at all? Bearcat (talk) 19:16, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not suggesting that we file it in a non-existent category, I meant that if that category did exist, then this film would fit into it. Mathew5000 (talk) 01:41, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

External links modified[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Guantanamo's Child. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

Adding a Section[edit]

Hello Wikipedians,

I just came here to let you know that I added some changes to this stub. I included a synopsis and reception section to the page and included some information about some of the nominations and awards the documentary received. I touched up some links in the info box that did not have an existing page. The overall goal was to just add a small bit of information to the stub, since it has not been updated in a while.

Cheers,
