Station Layout[edit]

There is no way for sure to tell if the station will have two island platforms. This information is unverified and best kept till official documents can prove it. Thoughts? Survivorfreak (talk) 12:32, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Addition of Station Layout[edit]

The station layout section was re-added to this station as it operates differently from the others significantly, and is notably different by being a stacked island platform. On Joo Koon collision[edit]

Putting it here because it's not relevant for the station itself, but useful for Joo Koon MRT station or the Joo Koon rail accident.

Train services between Gul Circle and Tuas Link were temporary ceased between 16 and 19 November 2017 following a collision that happened at Joo Koon. On 20 November 2017, train services from Gul Circle to Tuas Link were resumed; however, train services between Joo Koon and Gul Circle were suspended till mid-2018 to facilitate maintenance work on signalling devices. During the suspension, train services were as followed, with the exception of Sunday signalling trials which commenced on 29 April 2018:^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5] From 28 May 2018 onwards, trains once again ran through from Pasir Ris to Tuas Link and vice versa, after the transition to the CBTC Moving Block system.^[6]
