Untitled[edit]

A couple of things in this article appear to be incorrect. 1) von Tempsky was not eaten. In fact, another soldier was eaten. 2) The sword was placed under the door of a whare as good luck for all who entered. Has anyone any idea what is intended here?[edit]

Once again: place of birth[edit]

In April, Tempsky's birthplace was again changed into Königsberg.

The Almanach de Gotha and his successors at the latest proves that this place is wrong, he was definitely born in Braunsberg, Province of East Prussia:

Genealogisches Handbuch des Adels, Adelige Häuser B Band V, Seite 411, Band 26 der Gesamtreihe, C. A. Starke Verlag, Limburg (Lahn) 1961

The cited reference by McMillan on teara.govt.nz is written in ignorance of these older documents.
