Untitled[edit]

GP&C is the company founded by Håkan Lans, STDMA datalink (Self organising Time Division Multiple Access) is the invention marketed by this company.

First mass produced pointing device?[edit]

Does anybody have any reference, except from Lans himself, on this? Otherwise I think the notion should be removed.

The fist produced mouse was "Computer Displays made the mouse marketable with its three-button Mechanical Mouse 4-101" ref.http://www.mobilemagazine.com/archives/2005/03/the_top_100_gad_1.html Article text modified accordingly.

Removed troll statement[edit]

I removed the statement Lans has been labeled a patent troll by Swedish writer Oscar Swartz since the reference used was to Swartz's blog. If this labeling has received attention by others it would perhaps be relevant for the Lans article, but if not I believe that this should be in the Schwarz article rather than in the Lans article. - Tournesol (talk) 11:59, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I think it's the last remnant of a long lost section which included several unreferenced "compliments" to Lans, which I removed, and from some reason left this. I probably should have removed it ages ago. --Muhandes (talk) 13:18, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Books[edit]

He is in the book "The Medici Effect" by Frans Johansson (page 92). I may do some updating based on this book. 68.106.86.206 (talk) 10:43, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Allegations regarding living persons[edit]

Is the statement "An allegation was presented on Swedish National Television that Lindström's conduct was due to alleged connections with the The Pentagon, in order to stop Lans' progress on his STDMA patent.[4]" in accordance with Wikipedia policies on living people? Mossig (talk) 19:39, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it is making an allegation per se, it is reporting an allegation someone else made, and that someone is the national TV so it is no different than reporting such an allegation was brought up in a newspaper. However, it may not neutral or badly sourced, in which case it should be removed. --Muhandes (talk) 15:29, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
