Geographic coordinates wanted[edit]

does anybody have the geographic coordinates of the hotel? I can't find it (up to now) on the map (GeoEye) - I found three or four different places given in the www for this hotel ... -- 217.227.80.165 (talk) 18:34, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ok, here we go: 18.526805° N, -72.297502° W ... the arial images fit to the images of the hotel on flickr etc. and especially to File:Hotel_Montana_Haiti_after_earthquake.jpg. I found the place on the GeoEye-Images with google-earth. What I found out by searching this place: there is a lot of wrong information out in the www. -- Schusch (talk) 21:19, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently rebuilt and reopened[edit]

Apparently it's been rebuilt and reopened in the last 4 years; see [1]. I have no further info, but if anyone does, would be great to update the article with it. There's an article in German at [2] (Google tranlation), but I speak no German and am not confident relying on a computer translation. TJRC (talk) 01:28, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I would also like to point out that in the text it seems the swimming pool was there from 2009. But actually the pool was allready there in 1977. My dad learned me how to swim in that pool. Weve stayed in the hotel from dec 1977 to may 1978 CarefulDevRam (talk) 10:13, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
