Sense 3.0; T-Mobile specs page[edit]

Seems to me that the T-Mobile Specs page specifically lists HTC Sense 3.0.

http://htc.t-mobile.com/amaze-camera-phone

Seems like that'd be a pretty definitive source. Are there other sources stating something different? I realize that different networks might release different versions, but I believe the Amaze is a T-Mobile exclusive, at least right now, and in the US. ---- ScottHW (talk) 11:46, 17 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, mine was shipped with Gingerbread 2.3.4 and Sense 3.0. I believe the Amaze was also sold by Telus. -- David Spalding (  ) 15:16, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Specifications twice?[edit]

Seems we have detailed specifications in the infobox, and in the article text. Very redundant. Can someone point me to Manual of Style pages for cell phone model articles for guidance? TIA. -- David Spalding (  ) 15:11, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I noticed this as well, but there is a discrepancy between the two. If you look under the network bands supported by this phone, you'll see that the main body notes that the phone supports T-Mobile frequencies only while the infobox notes that it supports both AT&T and T-Mobile frequencies. All this information should definitely be in the infobox only and not in the main body (except perhaps what is included in-box). The Amaze 4G product page notes two different specs for this, likely indicating that there are two versions of this phone. I can find no reference to the AT&T version anywhere, so it is possible it was never pushed to production. I'll probably fix this page up later today to reflect the above information. --Opticron (talk) 14:44, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
