Name change[edit]

Maybe we ought to change the name of this article from transliterated Hebrew name to the English name "General Federation of Students and Young Workers in Israel"? If someone wants to search for it, there will be a redirect. The reason is an aesthetic one. When I saw the name for the first time, with all the extra capital letters I recieved an heart attack, and after I came back from Ichilov, I"d like to offer a change to this name change.--Bolter21 (talk to me) 10:31, 7 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

On their English page they call themselves "Working and Studying Youth". Seems like a better name for the article because it's sourced as well as shorter and cleaner. I think we should replace it in the lead as well. “WarKosign ” 10:40, 7 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Even in English publications, HaNoar HaOved VeHaLomed seems to be the WP:COMMONNAME; the formal title proposed has only one match on Google books. "Working and Studying Youth" has 170, but there are some hits that are not related to this subject. However, HaNoar HaOved VeHaLomed has 871, so even minus the first couple of entries that are related to the Wiki article, it's clearly the most used name. Number 57 seems to have the strongest argument for keeping the title as is. "Working and Studying Youth" is used on their English website, and should be used in the opening sentence instead of the formal translation. Debresser (talk) 11:32, 7 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
