I can't parse Havodychdryd or Hafod Uchtryd is the name of the house and demesne and the other properties. How can the name "be" that of other properties, whose individual names are given? What's a "horse logger", a logger working in non-mechanised fashion, using a horse? --Wetman (talk) 08:11, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is a quoted section from 2. under Notes. I have seen Havodychdryd as Havod Ychdryd. Mr. Johnes greatly increased the property and number of buildings on the estate. Horse logging is now ref'd. in the article. There are pictures on Jon West's site. Thanks for looking at the article and writing with questions. ∞☼Geaugagrrl(T)/(C) 04:53, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
BTW thanks for the help with the article--just catching up with my watch list... ∞☼Geaugagrrl(T)/(C) 05:25, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
