Why I removed the sentence about the rancheria[edit]
I actually read the source cited. It's here: https://archive.org/details/reportsoflandcas01hoff/page/48/mode/2up?q=pascual&view=theater and it does not mention any rancheria at all. I did search around a bit for information about a rancheria on this land and didn't find any. Therefore I removed the sentence because the Xaxaamonga people deserve respect. They deserve the work and effort it takes to write truth and put up clear, solid sources of that truth. If you find a reputable source for the rancheria being there, please add it and the source. Why I switched a source to its archived version[edit]
The source was cited in 2010. In the 14 years since, the source evolved so much that the current version no longer carried the information cited, so I linked to the version from 2019. Oona Wikiwalker (talk) 06:09, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
