After looking into the Citations it appears that Phone hairpinning and NAT hairpinning are both network techniques with the same metaphor but separate technologies. To confuse matters DNS hairpinning IS apart of NAT hairpinning.

I think that this article can be cleaned up and then properly have a 'see also' for Carrier Hairpinning article (currently under Anti-Tromboning.[1])

I'm going to go ahead and rename the entire article NAT hairpinning. Also give it some links, especially the ones which cover all the techniques which use the hairpinning as a metaphor. Cellarroot (talk) 20:28, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

So after looking at the main NAT article I found two things:
1. There is a link to this article in its NAT Lookback section. Making the citation at the beginning of this article somewhat incorrect.
2. The subsection is more complete than this entire article so it's a moot point.

An editor who has deletion privs may be needed. I don't know. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cellarroot (talkcontribs) 22:00, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
