Kew[edit]

Please don't change the redlinked Kew railway station to the existing Kew Bridge or Kew Gardens - it refers to a now-closed station served the area prior to the construction of Strand-on-the-Green railway bridge, which doesn't have its own article yet, and not to either of the existing stationsiridescent (talk to me!) 21:56, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 22:00, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading redirection[edit]

Links to the halts on this line re-direct to this page and so lose their details such as next/previous stations. Maybe one day the halts will get individual articles.--SilasW (talk) 15:07, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Mainline"[edit]

Isn't "mainline" rather too a grand word to apply to the branch? Some other WP articles use "heavy rail" to exclude Tubes &c.--SilasW (talk) 20:18, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't think "heavy rail" is appropriate in this context to differentiate it from the Underground; remember that throughout the life of this line, the corresponding stretch of the District line was also used for the decidedly heavy task of coal haulage. I don't really think it's inaccurate to describe the western sections of the NLR as "mainline".iridescent 20:30, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
