First flight[edit]

Did it fly for the first time on 2 or 3 December 1945? Both dates are mentioned. Drutt (talk) 00:26, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2 December is a Sunday, so I suspect 3 December is correct. Drutt (talk) 00:27, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Incomplete sentence.[edit]

There is a sentence in the section that states:

"Unlike the tail-wheel Hastings, the Hermes was planned to have a nose wheel undercarriage, although the first two prototypes, of which the first was an unpressurised "bare shell" and the second to be pressurised and fully equipped."

Seems to be missing something, yes? I presume the sentence is supposed to continue to say that "...and fully equipped, were completed with conventional landing gear, using parts from the Hastings."?.45Colt 02:22, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
