Tokyu Hands[edit]

This article looks like spam to me. Imagination débridée 06:41, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

how? The article is factual, Tokyu Hands is a popular store in Tokyo and other parts of Japan its located. I don't see how this article is no different from the article on Home Depot, reading the article it appears to be written in objective and unbiased style, therefore is allowable under wikipedia rules:
"Advertising. Articles about companies and products are acceptable if they are written in an objective and unbiased style. "
From my reading of the article it is unbiased and its objective, it gives you the facts about the stores, its layouts and locations, I don't know how more objective or unbiased one can get, and therefor allowable under wikipedia rules. Limitedexpresstrain 22:43, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Shiny Balls of Mud"[edit]

William Gibson's ~2003 article on dorodango includes a great deal of impressionistic discussion of Tokyu Hands - the hardest to reference. You can see a scan/picture of the article here: http://burningcity.com/gibson_tate.jpg --Gwern (contribs) 16:42 10 August 2010 (GMT)

Merger proposal[edit]

There is no reason for Nekobukuro to have its own article. It is a cat cafe like all the rest in Tokyo. It is an outstanding feature among Tokyu Hands stores, as no others have a cat cafe, but it is not outstanding among cat cafes - it is identical to Cafe JaLaLa, NekoRobi, and many others. I propose that it be merged into this article. -Etoile (talk)

Both the information in the Nekobukuro article and the assertions of the previous commenter are inaccurate. Nekobukuro is *not* a cat cafe like the rest, it is actually more akin to a petting zoo. Neither food nor drink are allowed nor served. It is also operated by an independent business, not by Tokyu Hands themselves. I am AGAINST merge. The Nekobukuro article should be updated and have it's notability established or be deleted. 116.81.11.245 (talk) 07:48, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
