Absurd excuse[edit]

According to Bohlmann, the death of his wife turned him to vandalism. Previously, he often visited museums with his wife and saw the importance of art in society. He then started to buy sulfuric acid at pharmacies and spray it on paintings.

People lose loved ones all the time, and they don't go around destroying art as a result. I'm not buying this excuse; it sounds like something his attorney invented. I would like to see more professional medical opinions from reliable sources in this article. There is an implicit assumption that the lobotomy contributed to his insanity. Your right, but we can never never know what triggers some individuals. Logic doesn't work here. Materialscientist (talk) 10:59, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
