Article[edit]

Most of this article does not appear to be about Krebs at all but about the general situation etc. It needs drastic slimming down. David Lauder 16:28, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Date of death[edit]

Just read this article which says he died on 1st May, but lower down he was alive on 2nd May. Are there any references to when he actually died? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.77.111.142 (talk) 21:35, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Krebs apparently committed suicide after midnight on 2 May, although some other sources state it occurred on 1 May, before midnight. See: Beevor (2002), p. 387 and Joachimsthaler (1999), p. 288. Kierzek (talk) 01:46, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
he actually died shortly after Hitler's death 71.221.81.33 (talk) 14:58, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ofcourse, he died after Hitler; but it was on the 1 (before midnight) or 2 of May (after midnight). No one has stated he did not.Kierzek (talk) 15:38, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unbalanced coverage[edit]

This article is currently almost completely focused on events in Berlin at the end of the war in Europe - a total of four days. What about the rest of his career? Staff officers may not be the most exiting roles, but there must be available on his career than this. If he was a staff officer for the whole of the Second World War, what units did he serve with? What did he do in the First World War?Nigel Ish (talk) 17:29, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
