Example[edit]

I find that the example is useless, and is explained in the article about Lamport timestamps. If there is no objection, I will erase it. Momet (talk) 20:37, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed it. Momet (talk) 20:24, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Partial Orders[edit]

Partial orders are not irreflexive. If no one objects I will remove "like all partial orders,..." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.212.207.67 (talk) 17:49, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Strict partial orders are irreflexive. Happened-before is normally defined as a strict partial order. "Partial order" by itself was ambiguous. David-Sarah Hopwood (talk) 14:41, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Needs work[edit]

This page really needs work. Its pretty difficult to understand this concept from this article, even though the concept is stupidly intuitive. Fresheneesz (talk) 03:40, 27 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Entire article written by monkeys[edit]

"Even if those events are in reality executed out of order (usually to optimize program flow)."

Not a complete sentence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.64.106.236 (talk) 09:14, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
