1494 is a date in the Muslim calendar (AH). Itsmejudith (talk) 13:11, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
1494 AH hasn't come yet. The numbers and the dates are totally inconsistent. Alefbe (talk) 18:49, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am deleting most of the text because its about Muhammad bin Abd al-Munim al-Himyari a 15th century geographer.J8079s (talk) 05:27, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The correct last name of this entity[edit]

he is Al-Hemyari and not Al-Himyari

character was excluded ( i ) with a letter (e) Mohammed Ali Joke (talk) 13:29, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

We transliterate the Arabic letter kasra with "i" here, not with "e" (please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Arabic). The reason for this is that the "i" transliteration is more common in English-language academic sources, which in turn make up the bulk of the sources used in Wikipedia articles involving Arabic transliteration. ☿ Apaugasma (talk ) 10:12, 29 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
