Content Fails To Maintain A Neutral Point Of View

The opening description of Harmon Wilfred as a 'fruitless efforts to act' as a whistleblower. Harmon is a whistleblower and the relative merit of his efforts indicates a 'point of view'.

Why would a whistleblower take such a risky action if he did not believe it the corruption to be true? Is the description 'alleged corruption' required because no indictment has been issued?

In the section titled 'Real estate dealings': The corruption is no longer an allegation. In fact, it is so poorly worded that the reader cannot understand that two separate cases of corruption were exposed by Harmon. His bankrupt properties were sold by the RTC after two years of delays and with a significant appreciation in value that he was never allowed to realize personally. Harmon filed a $30 billion class action lawsuit per se that was sealed pending adequate counsel. Harmon has a record of the case#

Afterward, Harmon was working for the El Paso County Pension Fund and exposed a fraudulent scheme that resulted in one conviction. The content omits this fact and then declares a couple of facts with a negative reference (did not, did not & not they). Harmon has the records of his involvement in exposing the pension fund fraud.

This is my first approach at correcting the egregious errors and seeming deliberate factual distortions in the content of this biography about me. This content is so inaccurate that it demands immediate attention to the extent that it should be taken down until all can be examined in detail and rewritten objectively with factual and professional standards. Thank you for immediately providing a proper way forward and assisting me in an extensive rewrite by objective professionals. The people who have written this content are clearly bias to the point of distorting and obscuring the truth. Harmon Wilfred (talk) is the First Appellant in this Judgement of the Appeals Court of New Zealand (CA184/2013 [2013] NZCA 457) is Harmon Wilfred as he attempted to regain control of the surviving assets of LaFamia after the Christchurch Earthquake. The appeal was dismissed by judgement of the court on 4 October 2013. The court reported several facts. [Source redacted]

The effect of the the three earthquakes in and around Christchurch has been omitted as content in the Harmon Wilfred article, especially his financial difficulties. An earthquake in nearby Canterbury (4 Sept. 2010) causes a public announcement by Harmon's recently acquired (financially distressed) Floyds Creative Arts, "It’s business as usual... committed to ensuring the creative space and its services will continue... providing arts activities to people with limited access opportunities for more than 35 years." The next earthquake on 22 Feb. 2011 is catastrophic to the population and infrastructure of Christchurch. The city dropped from second to third most populace of New Zealand. LaFamia's building on Fitzgerald collapses. This is a major financial event to a struggling charity beset with labor troubles. The timing could not have been worse for Harmon and Carolyn. A third earthquake causes more damage to the already paralyzed city and infrastructure.

The Appellate Court facts demonstrate that the financial impact was felt soon after the earthquakes. Also, sympathy for the plight of the plaintiff's was mentioned when it ruled against them.

The Harmon Wilfred (talk) Biography is missing an important fact about the financial problems that caused the bankruptcy. He took over a failing, long-respected charity to fully restore it to prominence and provide a needed service for the people of Christchurch, New Zealand. The devastating earthquakes effectively ended any possibility of the Harmon's success when the building on Fitzgerald collapsed. I am asking for a wiki-editor to resolve this critical omission of fact! FreedomtoAssociate (talk) 01:32, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

As mentioned by Zaereth on the request for improvement page, I can't see anything in those references that state the earthquake caused the loss of finances and/or the failure of the charity. We also can't use court documents or Harmon Wilfred's own personal website. While I'm sure the earthquake didn't help and maybe the reason, without reliable resources stating that it is, it is original research.

I'll also add that the NYT article doesn't really state that there was any fraud but more that there was the potential for it, really that article doesn't have anything to do with Harmon Wilfred and more to do about the savings and loan crisis and that RTC was under-staff to handle it. So it kind of explains why it may have taken them two years to sell the building that Wilfred was trying to sell but even then it doesn't state that was the reason for his taking so long and doesn't reference anything directly to do with Wilfred, so I wouldn't used it in his article. The Harmon Wilfred (talk) Harmon's charitable work under La Famia included the takeover of the failing charity, Floyd's Creative Arts . The article depicts the imminent closure of the respected charity, diminishing public funding and laudable support by the community, including cross-party support by local MP's. The story also mentions rented space (2008) and recession funding (2009) as primary causes for Floyd's financial distress prior to the acquisition by Harmon and Carolyn's LaFamia Foundation.

Floyd's Creative Arts Trust is liquidated and LaFamia Foundation takes over the assets, including the Fitzgerald building. The financial analysis by LaFamia and Christchurch lawyer, Simon Mortlock, the Trustee appointed by the Ministry of Social Development determined that the transfer was prudent.

Wigram Manor becomes the headquarters for La Famia Foundation NZ .

The notification of the Fitzgerald building collapse is on a Christchurch public bulletin board that informed the community with status updates to services available to the public in the wake of the devastating earthquake. The source of the information of the building collapse originates with La Famia, but should be deemed trustworthy since the source would not misrepresent such an important fact? (ref. 2 & 5)
