Untitled[edit]

The statement that "controversial 1986 Shaka Zulu TV series in South Africa in spite of economic sanctions" is biased and POV. Shaka Zulu was not controversial - it was critised by some groups because it was made in South Africa (a strange basis for a complaint). American sanctions on South Africa did not prohibit the funding or distribution of a SA TV series.203.184.41.226 (talk) 21:39, 13 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A mod may want to temporarily lock this article to prevent vandalism[edit]

It recently came to light that Harmony Gold is suing again -- this time Harebrained Schemes, Piranha Games Incorporated and others over designs used in the Battletech game. Tempers are starting to flare (I should know, I'm right with 'em in the torch 'n' fork brigade on this one) and I'm concerned that someone might try to vandalize this page. it might be a prudent idea to lock the page until tempers tamp down. How the hell can they sue when they themselves have ripped off the designs from other companies??? Talk about a bunch of greedy hypocrites.

All cases apparently eventually dismissed with prejudice. Someone else can dig up the court papers, but various anime and wargaming sites, plus TV Tropes, report a jury trial was set for September 2018, in which Piranha Games introduced evidence from a 2017 arbitration agreement between Harmony Gold and Tatsunoko that stated that Harmony Gold did not have the copyright to the Macross designs, leading to the dismissals. 86.8.177.103 (talk) 18:53, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

name of president/general counsel[edit]

Looking at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm6042768/ - shouldn't the name be "Christy Pawlak Duran"? Or is that another person? 2003:C3:43CD:7D64:A123:A09B:3A6B:6481 (talk) 15:22, 14 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
