Father of plastic surgery[edit]

A statement calling Gillies the father of plastic surgery was flagged with citation needed. This flag was removed and I reinstated it. It is true that there are sometimes things that don't need to be referenced, but I don't think this is one of those things. Additionally, when I searched Google for father of plastic surgery, there was more support for Susruta than for Gillies.--Taylornate (talk) 21:48, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
