Missed a space[edit]

Sorry I missed a space - this should be at Harry Kipling - I have to rush off but will sort the redirect out when I return. (Emperor 21:14, 24 February 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Story/Plot[edit]

The Story (probably should be Plot) was removed but no explanation was given so I've restored it. If there is a problem with it then feel free to drop in and make suggestions and we can work on fixing it. One thing is that it was recently expanded from my quick outline and that expansion appears to show knowledge of as yet unrevealed background (it contained a lot of new information - although steering this side of being actual spoilers) and so I suspected it was penned by an "insider" whose identity remains anonymous. Changed Story to Plot (which is what I usually use anyway). (Emperor 01:22, 31 March 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Seems the above edits were due to vandalism as they have happened 3 more times - I've reverted one and a bot caught two earlier ones. One their talk page [1] I've suggested the user is blocked but that is only getting the ball rolling - as I've never got someone blocked before but then again this is pretty blatant. Hello there,
sorry about the vandalism before, I got carried away. I have however changed the 'plot' section to make it seem less like promotional blurb. cheers, Pfarmer
OK cool. Thanks for dropping by. I have to say that I quite enjoyed the previous version but it probably was unsuitable for an encyclopedia. However, as you acknowledge, just removing it wasn't the best approach - if you'd popped in and had a word we could have sorted something out. You might want to sign up an account as it does make it easier to sort out problems that arise. (Emperor 01:07, 19 April 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Original Entry Being Anonymously Pepped-Up By Clandestine Members Of The Thargstrom Conspiratrox[edit]

Wotcher. "Insider knowledge" indeed. ;) Si Spurrier here: I pepped-up Emperor's original entry many months ago to give it a slightly more colourful vibe; I suspect this led to the sense of a "promotional blurb" and possibly to the Scorched Earth stuff by "Pfarmer" going on thereafter. (I'd also rather foolishly forgotten how far along the story was in actual printing terms, so at the time there were probably a couple of minor spoilers -- now hopefully all redundant.) But you're absolutely right: colourful descriptions have no business inside encyclopedias (encyclopediae?), and with hindsight I'm absolutely the last person who should be contributing to entries on my own stuff. One of the dangers of being so desperately fond of a character, I'm afraid: you want him to be well represented wherever he rears his head. But it all looks nice 'n academic to me now: good work, and thanks to all! (13th October 06)
Although to be fair it was hardly very stealthy or anonymous as there was about one and a half people who could have dropped that in at that time. (Emperor 13:55, 13 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Picture anyone?[edit]

I think I'd be great to have a picture of Harry. I suggest Prog 1492's cover. J Smithy

Agreed [2] - there are a number of new entries that need images (Stone Island, Banzai Battalion, etc) that we are on the same page on so I'll do a round of uploadings in the next few days. (Emperor 15:13, 9 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]
That's a wicked picture! Definitely use tha one.Richard75 18:48, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
