Fair use rationale for Image:Ss guilio cesare 1923.jpg[edit]

Image:Ss guilio cesare 1923.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Hi, welcome. There has been a series of editors with an interest in Harry Schwarz, e.g. Bluekey7 (talk · contribs), History-SA (talk · contribs), Rock12321 (talk · contribs), Asdasdasdasd123 (talk · contribs), HistoryPlecace (talk · contribs) , El Frando45fk (talk · contribs), 1magn3s (talk · contribs), I want to rock123 (talk · contribs), Lau7777 (talk · contribs), Free87 twenty jkl (talk · contribs) and a series of edits from Tiscali UK IP addresses. I see at least three of those were renamed. I strongly suspect these are all from the same person; if I'm right, please read WP:SOCK and rather stick to one account. The article seems to be well written and cited, but I think it's important to note that it is almost exclusively written by a single editor who is close to the subject of the article. Zaian (talk) 07:29, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there Zaian. I with others, run a refugee institute, where we hope to bring struggling refugees hope of a better future. We have focused on developing Mr Schwarz's page, in order to highlight his story from which others in a similar position may draw inspiration. The users "History-SA", "Bluekey7", "Lau7777" and "I want to rock123" are colleges of mine at the centre. As for the others listed, I am not aware of any association. As you can see we have also started a page on "Gustav Schröder" in December 09, a sea captain who saved hundreds of Jewish refugees, though we still have much work to do on it. (Wow, has it really been 5 years...) Anyhow, political analyst Professor Steven Friedman recently reviewed the Apartheid and Nelson Mandela articles here and here, and is critical of the references to Harry Schwarz in those articles: "It is unclear why the white opposition politician Harry Schwarz, who is not regarded by any history as an important figure in the end of apartheid, is singled out by the article." and "white opposition politician Harry Schwarz is given pride of place as an ‘anti-apartheid campaigner’ despite the fact that his role in fighting the system was extremely minor and that, for much of his political career, he represented the conservative end of white anti-apartheid thinking in Parliament." I think these references to Harry Schwarz were probably added by the same small group of editors (or just one editor, related to the subject) who contributed to this page. The result is unfortunately that Harry Schwarz's importance is overstated in a range of Wikipedia articles. See also this News24 article Zaian (talk) 21:13, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hagiography[edit]

The article reads like an hagiography, is often without source or hearsay and leaves out important facts from the sources or even missing in the sources. --41.144.12.108 (talk) 12:23, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
