In the lead, this article appears to focus on a convention for Indic languages, but it covers a similarly named one for Russian. The two systems have commonalities, like both making use of letter case to indicate differences in sound, but they don't seem to be the same. The Russian section also currently lacks sources, but the title of a dead external link suggests that it's a real thing. small jars tc
