List defined references[edit]

Unless someone objects, I intend to shift this article to list-defined references sometime soon to simplify future changes as it grows. More info can be found at the WP:LDR shortcut.--Frankie Rae (talk) 03:03, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No objection here; it sounds like a good idea. Ammodramus (talk) 12:06, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Done, although I see some of the references are missing information. I'll try to find the missing pieces, unless someone else has them handy.--Frankie Rae (talk) 02:10, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Found the missing info, although I replaced an old partial reference to the "Victoria Advocate" which I couldn't find with a better reference to Julien R. Fielding's excellent chronicle. --Frankie Rae (talk) 19:29, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Putative clone in Kearney[edit]

This statement included in the article has no citation: Interestingly, a clone of this house, built from the same plans, bootlegged from the Oak Park Studio, exists at 502 W. 27th St., Kearney, Nebraska.

Ammodramus has taken some clear photos of the purported clone that can be seen at Commons:Category:Kearney, Nebraska 502 W 27 St. In examining these photos of the ostensible clone, both of us see countless differences from the Harvey P. Sutton House. They include basic structural differences such as the side to side dimensions of the two houses. While it's conceivable that these could be due to remodeling, that seems unlikely. Unless someone can substantiate the claim, I intend to strike it in the near future. Thanks! --Frankie Rae (talk) 03:33, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed this statement. Of course, it can be restored with a citation, ideally with an explanation of the discrepancies.
