Maybe someone could add a note about the original Kongresshalle which collapsed in in (I think) 1980? heqs 19:32, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The building is the same, it didn't collapse. In '80 a part of the roof construction collapsed, but not the building itself.87.139.51.245 (talk) 15:35, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Silly Nickname[edit]

The article says "To Berliners it is also known as the Schwangere Auster ("pregnant oyster")." This is nonsense, the term has been coined by postcard-sellers and is used only by non-berliners. Berliners would never bow as low as to use such a blatand stupid name. No way. Same thing with "Telespargel", btw. 87.139.51.245 (talk) 15:35, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pregnant Oyster is used quite often by Berliners actually. I agree with Telespargel though, that nickname is virtually never used by true Berliners.
