earlier version[edit]

I created an earlier instance of this article. It was deleted on December 30th. I believe it was deleted without warning. I am pretty cross about this. The version I created had references, which the current version doesn't.

I've written the administrator who deleted the article. -- Geo Swan 08:29, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The administrator apologized for the confusion. A vandal had blanked the page, then a careless editor had marked the blank page for speedy deletion, without noticing the vandal's work, the administrator apologized for not checking to see if the speedy was done right, and restored the last version to User:Geo Swan/Hazrat Ali. I have taken a crack at merging that version with this second iteration.
Cheers! -- Geo Swan 13:43, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I asked for the edit history of the original instance of this article to be merged with the current instance. My recollection is that this is possible. -- Geo Swan 14:34, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
