FICA taxes and general cleanup

I stumbled upon a statement that was added in 2007 that employee contributions are not subject to FICA taxes. The IRS explicitly says otherwise, as I noted in this edit. Since that apparently-incorrect statement has been around for 8 years without being caught, the rest of that mostly-unreferenced section should be shcekced carefully by someone who knows this stuff (which isn't me). —Alex (Ashill | talk | contribs) 02:23, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

Self-Reimbursement commentary vague

There is the text, There is no deadline for self-reimbursements of qualified medical expenses incurred after the HSA was established which is not very informative, does it need to be expanded a bit? It's not clear what that means.

Someone who uses their HSA account for qualified medical expenses simply add to the account to keep funds in the account, if they wish, right? So what's this "self-reimbursement" talking about? Paying themselves back for having paid out-of-pocket doctor's bills which people paid without using the HSA when they could have paid using their HSA?

The text needs to be expanded to explain, I believe. Damotclese (talk) 20:08, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
