Untitled[edit]

Hello, can someone add a picture to this page? I don't know how. thanks a lot.HeseGrande 00:42, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is pictures of at least three different species of ivy on this page. Which one is the Hedera helix? Erickal77 (talk) 04:54, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WA, USA law[edit]

This is a class C noxious weed species.[1] Clark89 (talk) 00:13, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On noxiousness[edit]

The original statement that ivy is listed as a noxious weed in 46 states is incorrect according to the reference given. It is noted as introduced in those states, which isn't the same thing. Maryland only lists three species as noxious weeds, for instance. Mangoe (talk) 23:04, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

One part of this Wiki article says that ivy can be used for cough medicine, and another part says that it is poisonous to humans. True. . . dead people don't cough (much). What would happen if Wiki information causes someone to get poisoned? Improve (talk) 00:21, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the content of this page is tendentious. The wholly different view on Hedera helix in European countries is completely neglected, as are its many use cases in medicine, cultivation, building facade protection etc. All in all, the article is not in a shape to be considered encyclopaedian. :-( --*thing goes (talk) 16:57, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Indigenous predators?[edit]

The article says this are no predators in the Americas. what predators are there in Europe or Asia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.17.187.53 (talk) 19:25, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Control and Eradication section[edit]

Hello,

I plan to updgrade and update the control and eradication section. The information that is there is missing a citation and is framed in an argumentative tone instead of a fact based one, so I will update that. I will also be adding other control methods such as Mechanical and Chemical, and details about those. Here is a list of my sources so far: https://www.oregon.gov/ODA/programs/Weeds/Meetings/Documents/English%20Ivy%20Forum%202016/EnglishIvyManagementResourcePacket.pdf
