Krishnamurti[edit]

There is no reference to a Helen Knothe's friendship with Krishnamurti, the Indian thinker and religious teacher, who fell in love with her when she was a very young woman, but withdrew from the relationship on realising his true path lay elsewhere in life. (See Wikipedia article on Krishnamurti.) Does anyone have confirmation that this is the same Helen Knothe? --P123cat1 (talk) 01:20, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, well spotted. Looks like Jiddu Krishnamurti and Helen had a personal relationship.[1][2] Feel free to insert text, a link to Krishnamurti and citations in the article. I've recently retired from editing Wikipedia.Nirvana2013 (talk) 09:21, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I have added some text to the article along with the relevant citation and link to cover this information. I have also changed "The Nearings" to "Helen and Scott Nearing", which appears in blue to indicate to readers that there is another Wikipedia article on her, as I have just discovered. I think it is important that readers should know there is one - had I known about it, for instance, I would not have needed to raise my query, because her relationship with Krishnamurti is mentioned there! - and although duplication of information across the two articles is obviously not desirable, I feel this piece of information is important enough to warrant a brief mention in this one. --P123cat1 (talk) 13:59, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
