Headline[edit]

Headline 2[edit]

This article reads like it was written by an overzealous PR man instead of an honest community member. It's like reading an old issue of Nintendo Power pitching a POS movie Tie-in like Rambo II, obviously biased in order to drum up interest. Not that the movie will or won't be good, I plan on seeing it but don't appreciate being pitched to. 96.32.181.221 (talk) 22:02, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Biblical symbolism[edit]

There appears to be Biblical symbolism strung throughout the film. Billy Wings, leader of the 666ers, has tattoos of wings all over his arms, each a different color from the Book of Revelations; he represents the Beast / Satan.

The number 3 appears prominently throughout the movie: three 6's, three keys, etc. When Pistolero goes in to face The Deuce there are three chairs laid out in front of him. Pistolero, Comanche, and The Gent end up sitting in them before they kill the Deuce; they could represent the Christian Trinity - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

The movie was just on HBO. The Gent is not present at Deuce's murder. He's in the tree at the next scene. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.113.49.126 (talk) 08:15, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, you're right, I checked. I still think that the reason there are three chairs is to point to the Trinity, though. --❨Ṩtruthious andersnatch❩ 09:52, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nada may represent Moses, who communed with God alone in the desert. This is why she mentions her "burning bush" when she and Pistolero are out in the desert doing peyote.

When Eddie Zero is shot in the end and the audience believes he is dead but it turns out that he was wearing a bullet-proof jacket, so this could represent Christ's Resurrection. If so, I think that the treasure in the lockbox dug up by Comanche / Christ would be something like Christian Salvation.

And of course the bar "Dani's Inferno" is supposed to be Dante's Inferno.

That's what I think, anyway. --❨Ṩtruthious andersnatch❩ 08:28, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gross Revenue[edit]

The article states $213 thousand as gross revenue. That does not make sense! $213 million maybe? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.166.181.243 (talk) 15:12, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
