Seems like only one of the articles needs to exist. I recommend combining them, if possible. Zifmer (talk) 21:40, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction in article[edit]

The first sentence of the article reads as follows:

"The Hells Canyon massacre (also known as the Snake River massacre) was a massacre where thirty-four Chinese goldminers were ambushed and murdered in May 1887."

But under the section Massacre the article says:

"In late May 1887 ... the gang of seven white horse gang members robbed, murdered, and mutilated between 10 and 34 Chinese employees of the Sam Yup Company, reportedly for their gold."

I know nothing about this massacre. But if if it is not known how many people were massacred, then the first sentence should not claim a fact that is not known. 2601:200:C000:1A0:9904:793D:A5EC:625B (talk) 01:19, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
