Rommel and racism[edit]

The bit about Klopper "demand[ing] from Rommel to be held in different section of the prison camp, segregated from the black soldiers" sounds both biased and fanciful and needs to be removed. In reality, management of the Tobruk POWs was given to the Italians. Rommel would have no say at all in the custodial arrangements. Yes, like most white South Africans of the day, Klopper would probably have discriminated generally against blacks and coloureds, but inclusion of this specific content would need to be reliably justified, which is not the case at present.
