This article needs expansion[edit]

A two-term Governor of Oklahoma and a United States Senator to boot! This article needs expansion. ProfessorPaul

Error about the term limit[edit]

Under the Oklahoma constitution at the time, the governor of Oklahoma could not "succeed himself." This means a governor could not serve two consecutive terms, but could run for office again.

This was repealed later, but I do not remember when. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Soonerted (talkcontribs) 19:08, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
