This is a detailed, verifiable, neutral, illustrated, and stable article. However, the content in the sections are not detailed, and the article is rather short and is lacking detail. It is also not as well written as the standard for good articles. Here is a quick summary of the condition of the sections:

  • Early life contains five sentences in a single paragraph that are short, abrupt, and list-like. It does not include his education, and jumps abruptly from his move when he was 2 years old to his work in the lumber industry at 19.

  • Career is slightly longer, but focuses almost completely on Carroms and doesnot address other aspects of his career, such as plywood.

  • Innovations and inventions has two paragraphs. The first one mostly focuses on the plywood canoe, and the second one, while slightly broader, still focuses on Haskelite airplanes.

  • Family has four list-like sentences in a single, very short paragraph.

  • Later life and death is extremely short consisting of only two sentences about his death and nothing about his later life.

  • Societies has three short sentences, although they are broader.
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 11:29, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Patents is a list of four of his patents.

I would not list this article unless the article is made much longer and more detailed in its scope. CrazyBoy826 01:58, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@CrazyBoy826: All issues have been addressed. Can you take another look. Thanks. --Doug Coldwell (talk) 20:14, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Doug Coldwell: The article is now much more detailed and broad in its coverage, but there are still areas that need improvements in writing quality. For example,

Haskell served on the Ludington School Board and on the Ludington Library Board. He also served as the county probation officer. Haskell died in Detroit at the age of 78 on April 3, 1940. He is buried in Thayer cemetery at Northville, Michigan.

The sentences are very short and list-like, and could be improved into the following:

Haskell served on the Ludington School Board and on the Ludington Library Board, and he also served as the county probation officer. Haskell died in Detroit at the age of 78 on April 3, 1940, and was buried in Thayer cemetery at Northville, Michigan. CrazyBoy826 20:40, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Doug Coldwell, the article now meets all of the good article criteria.  Pass CrazyBoy826 20:51, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
