Biographical Information[edit]

The majority of Dr. Hulme's biographical information comes from his entries in Who's Who (1954-1991), and Who Was Who (edition published 1996). There are only scant references to Dr. Hulme in the books that are about Britain's H-bomb project even though he appears to be one of the four major people behind the project and behind the creation of the bomb.

Parker-Hulme Murder Case[edit]

I don't see any reason for repeating any of the information that is already on the Parker-Hulme case page and best just to have a link to the page.

After Retirement[edit]

There doesn't appear to be any information available that relates to what he did with his time post his retirement as his Who's Who entry which he did update the address that was at the end of it, but under recreations he just listed various. 'The Search for Anne Perry' states that Dr. Hulme restored old water colours, some of which hang on the walls of Anne Perrys house.

There is an official portrait that was painted before he left New Zealand in 1954. Been unable to obtain a photograph of this.

Unsure if there are any other pictures of Hulme.

Notes[edit]

There is very little on Dr. Hulme on the internet, and when you do enter his name in to a search engine it always finds links to pages that relate to the film Heavenly Creatures or to articles that just list his name in relation to Juliet Hulme/Anne Perry.

Birth year of son[edit]

This is given as 1994. This is obviously wrong, as he was a child at the time of the Parker-Hulme murder in 1954. (Besides, in 1994 his father had been dead for three years!) Kostaki mou (talk) 16:30, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
