Governor?[edit]

This article mentions Porfirio Díaz as governor of Sinaloa. Díaz however never was governor of Sinaloa. He has been governor Oaxaca for a short time, but that's too far away from Sinaloa for Bernal to have operated there. So either governor is wrong and it should say president, or it was not Porfirio Díaz but someone else who actually was governor of Sinaloa. Mixcoatl (talk) 16:56, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Let me check back the source. --I Write Stuff (talk) 17:45, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed, he is listed as a Porfirian governor, I misread in my haste. --I Write Stuff (talk) 17:52, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Death accounts[edit]

A recent edit was made on the article itself claiming the death section was inaccurate. And I specifically mean in the text of the article itself using the "wrong" and such. I had to revert that but left a citation needed tag. I'm too unfamiliar with the history of Bernal to attempt an edit myself. But from what I can gather online, it appears that both the current version and the version given by this editor may be wrong. Apparently there are different versions of Bernal's death. So hopefully someone better versed in the history can write something better and have it cite good sources. Libertybison (talk) 18:56, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
