Restoring.[edit]

I think that this page should be restored. I see that the page was redirect protected and page protected for the "enforcement of the Articles for Deletion page," but the discussion for the deletion of the original Here We Go Again song article took place between June 12, 2009 and June 19th and the decision was made to delete the page on June 19, 2009 which was four days before the song was released to digital markets and other outlets allowing it to be up for charting. The article states June 17 as the release, but that was for the Radio Disney premiere, which doesn't mean anything in terms of eligibility in charting. Since it's release the song has charted on the Canadian Hot 100 and the Billboard Hot 100. This song, being the lead single from her forthcoming album, has all the components of a single article that can be seen in other single article such as information about the music video, release, critical reception, single art, and now charting success. The article may not have had notability then because the discussion and decision to delete the original article was made on June 19th, before the release, but in my opinion I think the article does meet notability guidelines now that it has charted. Well it is quite clear that not everyone agrees with that even now given the history of these re-directs. I think it would be better to start off with you creating the a sourced version of the article in the user space you want to create, and then we can move on from there. For the record, I do not object to the unprotection as the article is reasonable now. However, I would have appreciated it if I was consulted about it so I could have fixed the collection of re-directs, fortunately I kept this page on my watch list otherwise that would not have happened. Please note that this page is not immune from AfD if users continue to think this song does not deserve its own article, which was apparent in the history, even after release. The Ray Charles song has nothing to do with the Demi Lovato song, they are two completely different songs. Someone just linked it because they probably thought Ray Charles had the only "Here We Go Again" song and used the (song) suffix.
