Cherry Powerhouse vs. Holm Powerhouse[edit]

The Damming section refers to "Cherry Powerhouse" while the Hetch Hetchy Project section and the map refer to "Holm Powerhouse". Are these two separate powerhouses, or do both of these names refer to the same powerhouse at 37°53′47.83″N 119°58′06.80″W / 37.8966194°N 119.9685556°W / 37.8966194; -119.9685556? --T71024 (talk) 00:05, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, it's supposed to be Holm Powerhouse (though I've seen it referenced in some more questionable sources as "Cherry Powerhouse")... Thanks for catching that. Shannon 05:43, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Simpler vs simple[edit]

I believe I was responsible for that phrase "a simple matter" when I edited this article a while back, and it's most definitely a typo. Cutting a giant hole through the base of a 400-foot high concrete dam is not easy. However it's still easier than removing the entire dam. Hence simpler. Shannon 04:36, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I see. But "it would be a simpler matter of ..." seems highly unidiomatic. Can you phrase it such that it doesn't sound wrong? Dicklyon (talk) 05:04, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Will take a look. Shannon 06:41, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
