Question[edit]

I have a slightly anorak question about Higgledy House. Is more than one house involved? The front exterior shots seem to match the general size and style of the interior shots, but the back of the house looks like a completely different building.... Paul-b4 16:10, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quite possibly, but more to the point, the house next door appears to be boarded up, to the extent, that, the windows and doors have metal railings on the outside!Kidlington 04:17, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Episode info[edit]

I got the episode names from http://bbc.ask-adders.com/series/Higgledy+House/ and I filled in the descriptions of ones I've seen but until the other episodes are shown again I can't do any more. It seems as though there are 14 episodes, but I don't have a definitive number. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Naich (talkcontribs) 13:52, 7 November 2007 (UTC) Higgeldy house is filmed in east finchley at no 69 fortis green i know this because i lived next door at no 71. Higgeldy House is in fortis green east finchly n2. I know this because i lived next door at no 71 from a baby till i was 16 years old And the back of the house belongs to the front believe me. next door no 71 never used to have bars up on the windows when i lived there It was a childrens home run by a Mis Elsie Butler and a Miss Olive Roberts i was one of the children who lived there. e hodge —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.28.185.174 (talk) 13:43, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm.... interesting. When myself and my wife saw the house next door we immediately thought "Children's home", which sort of bears out what "Mr E Hodge" says. Also, looking at the "birds eye" photo of 69, Fortis Green, London N2 9JD, it does bear a striking resemblance to Higgledy House. Unfortunately this counts as original research and so I can't amend the main text - do we have any more detailed info on the "Bristol" property? Paul-b4 (talk) 14:45, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Right. I've "walked past" the Fortis Green house on Google Earth, and if it isn't Higgledy House then the owner must be a dedicated fan having purchased a property that is, in almost every way, identical. I'll change the main text until someone can come up with evidence to back up the Bristol location (although it is possible that interior shot may have been filmed there.) Contradictions[edit]

Hi, can I ask why 109.151.48.40 and various others seem to be contradicting as to the nature of the program? Both sides appear to have a completely different view of what it is... are there two programs of the same name or something like that? If so, they should probably have separate articles.
