Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --Dr. Grampinator (talk) 19:28, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hilduin II was referenced in a Wikipedia article "House of Montdidier" as the son of the founder of the house and he is critical in understanding this family. His son was a Count of Dammartin (also a Wikipedia article, and he is referenced there), and was married to a daughter of Robert II, King of France. I'm am confused as to why you would want to delete this article, since it provides continuity to several items of interest to the history of 10th and 11th century France.
