Tidied up and alphabetised[edit]

I've tidied up the content and put it in alphabetical order to make it easier to navigate for readers. If you have a Hindu group that you wish you we'd all appreciate if you put it in the list alphabetically using the same format as the other listings; alphabetically by county, and then alphabetically within that county. If your group doesn't have an offical address then I have added an 'other' header at the bottom to accommodate these groups. Namaste - Janmastami dasa

Copyright problems[edit]

The article was reverted back to its form in 2007 because an IP editor pasted in content from this BBC article on Hinduism. Please do not revert or copy and paste someone else's work into a Wikipedia article. Persistent violators will be blocked. - KrakatoaKatie 05:21, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tidied Up[edit]

I've tidied up the article as best I could be removing unverified claims and also adding an up to date list of Hindu temples in Ireland - something that is going to be important for readers. I've also updated the articles with the latest census information. More can definitely be done to flesh this out, but at least the basic information is now in place. Disambiguation[edit]

I've replaced this article with a disambiguation. Since Hinduism in Ireland postdates partition and is not organised on a cross-border level, there is no need for an island-specific article, which merely duplicates the two jurisdiction articles with a bit of WP:SYNTH thrown in. jnestorius(talk) 11:41, 10 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
