regarding the alignment in war[edit]

The article only mentions the attacks to merchant ships as the main factor for turning the government towards the Allies, but it should mention deals with the USA, such as for the construction of the CSN (compania Siderúrgica Nacional) and the export of latex. Some people even speculate that the attacks were actually made by the USA in a secret operation, blaming the Germans for it and giving a reason for Brazil to fight against Germany. -- NIC1138 (talk) 21:02, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
