I have read a "Resumen de Historia Del Ecuador" by Enrique Ayala Mora, an Oxford scholar. I can say the same for all the other pages regarding Ecuador's 20th and 19th century history. This page, seems to correlate to the same information present in this book regarding this period of history, although with some additional details which I can't confirm, but make sense regarding what I know about the country. My qualifications are that I'm a grad student in Spanish Literature and have studied Ecuador quite a bit. -Markgerard2020 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Markgerard2020 (talk • contribs) 07:11, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
