A short introduction paragraph at the beginning of the page would be useful.
The brief history section is unnecessary, as it is available elsewhere and doesn't contribute directly to the topic of the article.
You might want to refer to the citizenship situation of Palestinians under the Ottomans, before the British mandate.
You could link to the History of Israeli Nationality and Arab citizens of Israel pages.
You will want to say more about the situation of Palestinians in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and elsewhere. The broader question of the diaspora, its political representation, and its claim to a right of return also deserves attention.
Your discussion of travel documents is important. Perhaps you could create a section dealing specifically with this topic.
Now that you have the political narrative of citizenship, what can you say about other kinds of practices and issues such as social and civil rights?

I am Dr. Drakken (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) has been identified as one of a series of sock-puppets of banned sock-master Isarig.

Isarig's past contributions are listed here under Former user 2, see Community Sanctions Noticeboard Isarig, Community Sanctions Noticeboard consensus, Community Sanctions Noticeboard Resolution, Community Sanctions Noticeboard Isarig, ANI: Isarig violating terms of mentorship for community concerns about the operation of this account. The extensive discussions culminated in compulsory mentoring, 1RR and an Israel/Palestine topic ban on the 30th August 2007.

In December 2007, Isarig (who had continued to edit outside the I/P topic) confessed to operating the sock-puppets Teens! and Clintonesque and was granted the right to vanish according to this deletion log and Isarig is no longer with us, wherein it is said "The user have been explained not to come back editing again as per WP:RTV, a thing they agreed to."

This is a soapbox article[edit]

The whole point of this article is to try to change the etymology of the word "Palestinian." The article itself is NPOV. We don't need it. The issues it addresses are best left up to articles like Palestinian people.

Issues with the lead[edit]

Per WP:LEAD, "The lead should be able to stand alone as a concise overview of the article." At present it does not do so, providing instead information (whether true or false) that is not covered in the article body. This is misleading and it needs to be re-written. Confusing quote[edit]

The phrase "It granted every "Jew" who immigrated to Israel, or, following the 1971 amendment, even expressed the desire to immigrate to Israel, "immediate" Israeli citizenship without taking any formal steps." is unsourced and incorrect. There is a process for immigration, it isn't granted for expressing the desire. Being Jewish doesn't guarentee that the process will even be successful.

There are reports of limited access to funding due to an eligibility gap, arising from the reality of Palestinian citizens of Israel typically not serving in the IDF.
