Moved to mainspace by Remsense (talk). Self-nominated at 03:36, 26 November 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/History of Qing (People's Republic); consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.[reply]

  • Glad to see you finished this one! I think the first hook is the strongest by a large amount here. The Zhao Ma source checks out, and even within the bounds of machine translation the second source appears to check out as well. Article is in a good shape (albeit needing images!) - Generalissima (talk) 03:44, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

  • I would've really liked to use an image of Dai Yi, but there are no free-use ones available from any point in his life.
  • Per the DYK notes, I tried to find an image of the plenary session that approved the project in 2002, but I've had no luck here so far either.
  • Other than that, my best tries were various promotional/representational images of other publications by the IQH as are used on Chinese news articles about this topic.

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated! Remsense 18:54, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
