This Article, And Its Sections, Are a Mess[edit]

This article is quite a bit of a jumble. Some of the issues:

The section (headers) are a mess – if you're going to organize the article this way, it makes far more sense to do it by TV season (e.g. '2001–2002') than by year ('2002'). As a result of the current organization, some events are in completely the wrong year/season (whereas they would be in the correct section if they went by TV season like '2001–2002').
This article seems to spend too much time on "[X] TV series premiered on [Y] date" kind of content, and not enough on other historical content (e.g. I just had to add The WB's first adoption of HDTV to the article myself today, because it wasn't even previously mentioned, even though HDTV adoption is obviously an important historical event...).
Why is this article organized in "list-format", instead of sentence/paragraph format?!

This is just for starters.

But this article seems like it's in serious need of a reorganization. I may tackle Point #1 above myself in the near future. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 04:08, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
