Untitled[edit]

The article needs a bolded definition. MP (talk) 09:27, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm thinking of taking the section on pre-islamic Arabic inscriptions and moving it to a new article then expanding it.--Xevorim (talk) 14:06, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maltese?[edit]

It would be nice to have a table showing the correspondence between the Arabic, Hebrew, Maltese (Latin), and Syriac alphabets. – Kaihsu (talk) 20:03, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Use lower-case Greek?[edit]

I notice in the table under "Reorganization of the alphabet" there are upper-case Greek letters. The comparison might work better if lower-case Greek -was used - certainly lower-case alpha α and gamma γ are much closer to the Syriac alap and gamal than the upper-case versions Α & Γ.
