Speedy deletion[edit]

I appreciate both Pyrospirit, and Toddst1 for their quick concern to new articles. I would also like to note that it should have taken longer than 59 seconds in the Pyrospirit's case to read the entire article. As for Toddst1's accusation of copyright infringement, I would further like to note that a brief conversation with either me, or the artist himself would have sufficed to clear any wrongdoing. As a Wiki veteran myself, I understand that many articles incorporated into this encyclopedia really have no place. However, mind you that Ho Baron is a renowned artist within the South Western United States. His works have toured various Southwestern venues. Had you taken a moment to research the subject of this article, I am sure that you would never have been tagged this article with speedy deletion. Please take more concern in what you wish to tag. Let me digress, I am not the original author, I am only helping a new Wikipedian get it right. Please mind that this article was originally written by a new member hoping to start their hobby career as a Wikipedian. Don't scare them away. They may need more time to fully develop their proper habits, but didn't we all? Once again, I ask that you do your homework: Please write the author from whom you feel I plagiarized this material. Let me know what they say, as well as from where this material was plagiarized. If you are indeed correct, I will do my best to correct the matter. As the person who placed the copyrighted material on the page, it is your job to provide proof that you have permission to do so. Also, could you please tell us who this new Wikipedian is who you are editing on behalf of? As things stand now, you have created a page consisting of copyrighted work with no proof that you have the author's permission to do so. I am the original author (and the new Wikipedian). The data on the TSOS website was written by Ho Baron and posted on the site. I helped write it. The copyright, such as it is, is mine and Ho Baron's, not the Texas Society of Sculptor's (they post what you send them - it is a complementary site available to members of the organization). You will also find much the same language on his website at http://hobaron.com link "Story", on his profile on Saatchi Gallery http://www.saatchi-gallery.co.uk/yourgallery/artist_profile/Ho+Baron/65741.html. It is the standard info. he gives out to galleries for his shows. When I first started putting up the site, today, I did get a message that the material might be copyrighted, but if I felt it was in error then I could remove the tag. I did so. I could not initially figure out how to leave a message (newbie, sorry) so did not. If you would like verification from Ho Baron, please feel free to contact him at h.baron@att.net. If there is something else I need to do make this well, please let me know, and I am sorry for the bother.
